Sheriff contemplates election contest Array Print Array

Following what one candidate claims began at the Primary election and carried itself forward through the General election, created circumstances that have current Sheriff Barry Walker and contenders Paul McKee and Pat Huntley voicing concern over how the last election was handled and if different outcomes may have occurred if glitches were handled differently.

Walker, who is discussing the procedures followed during the general election with independent counsel, said things that caused the election to be hand-counted and results out late Wednesday, Nov. 7, "were not right."
