Christmas is 27 days away and many in Linn County do not know how they will provide a modest Christmas meal and gifts to their family members. Thanks to the efforts of community members in Linn Valley and in Pleasanton, an Angel Tree and the Pleasanton Angel Project have been formed to assist those in need.

The deadline to complete an application to receive assistance in Linn Valley is Monday, Dec. 3. Applications may be picked up outside the POA (Property Owners Association) building in the building inspector box. A return envelope is included with the application. Once an applicant has completed the form, it may be sealed in the provided envelope and dropped in the mail slot of the POA Office. Ann Keffler, a warrior for the LV Angels, said "Last year the group assisted 21 angels, and we don’t want to miss a soul this year."
