"I’ve been crocheting for 30 some years," says Sharon Rains Bedgood as she sits at her kitchen table in the gray house in Mound City. However, it wasn’t until she decided to enter a baby afghan into the local county fair a year or so ago that she began to crochet with breakneck speed. What began as a simple fair entry has developed into a passion for Sharon.
She was not happy with the baby afghan on its own and decided she should crochet a baby hat to match.
