Art students at Prairie View welcomed children and their parents during the Family Art Night event on April 17. Art instructor Joe Summers stated this was the 18th year for the program, which was originally started as a way for students to encourage the young novices in and around the district as they enjoy an evening of direction and creativity.
Although two-and-a-half-year-old Tierza Summers, Centerville, may get her artistic creativity from her dad, Prairie View art teacher Joe Summers, mom Tara appears to have her own talent as she suggests colors for the little one’s project.
