Cathy Jean Pettey, age 48, of Fort Scott, Kan., died Sunday, April 25, 2010, at the Freeman Medical Center in Joplin, Mo.

Memorial prayer service will be held 6 p.m. Thursday, April 29, 2010, at the Coffel-Schneider Funeral Home in Hume, Mo. Visitation will follow until 8 p.m. The family suggests contributions to the Cathy Pettey Memorial Fund.
