Jayhawk Linn seventh grade students ham it up for the camera in the No. 9 schoolhouse at the Mound City Historical Park. They spent the day learning to write cursive with quill pens, building model covered wagons, the pony express and the underground railroad.

Kids enjoy looking for eggs at the annual Parker Easter Egg Hunt sponsored by PALS (Parker Area Ladies Society). Three age groups of kids were able to hunt for eggs filled with candy and prizes, plus a drawing for larger prizes was held.
