by DEB CANNON COUGILL Born Oct. 12, 1912, Edna Rosetta Gorman has maintained her sense of humor. As soon as she sat down, she looked up and said, "Did you notice that my hair didn’t turn gray?" Edna was the eighth of nine children born to Lester Marion and Bertha Rose Casida Krull of Blue Mound. She attended Austin Country School, then Lost Creek School, then Pleasanton and Mound City High Schools, graduating from Mound City in 1932. Want to read more?
