There is a rumor going around that Cookie Monster is on his way to Linn County. He has received word that there will be cookies aplenty in Pleasanton on Saturday, Dec. 8.

His information is correct. The women at the First Christian Church in Pleasanton are holding a cookie festival on that date at the church at 613 Main St.
