Woody thankful for God's hand following fiery crash Array Print Array

The day after Christmas is normally a day for relaxation or checking out sales that may be going on at favorite stores, but for a Pleasanton woman, that day was a day for her to thank God for his protection after a fiery crash left her car totaled and her unharmed.

2006 Pleasanton High School graduate Sarah Woody left home with Christmas presents loaded in her Ford Ranger: a new bookcase her dad made, other items from her family, 12 jars of canned applesauce and her house cat. She was headed back to work in Lawrence as a doctoral student at Kansas University in the pharmacology and toxicology program.
