On Saturday, Jan. 5, 20 schools showed up for the 2013 Burlington Wrestling Invitational. In order of tournament placement, these are the schools, which participated: Holton, Prairie View, Fredonia, Cherryvale, Silver Lake, Rock Creek, Burlington, Coffeyville, Eureka, Iola, West Elk, Oskaloosa, Wellsville, Frontenac, Anderson County, Central Heights, Mission Valley, Erie, Jayhawk-Linn and Burlingame.

Prairie View’s second place was only 65 points from the winning school, Holton. It was only two points that made the difference between Jayhawk’s placing 19^th and Erie’s 18^th.

As for individual wrestlers’ scores, Prairie View’s Tanner Snow came away with third in his 106-pound weight class. Snow now has a 6-2 season record after this invite.
